  1. How can I get another email address on my account?

    You have two options. You may have an email alias, which is another email address directed to your current mailbox. These are free. All email directed to the alias will be downloaded with your normal mail. If you decide you want an alias, just email support@linknet.com.au with at least three preferences and we will set up the first available.

    The other option is to have an additional email box. The advantage of this is that all mail to the new address is kept separate from your existing address, and is accessible with its own username and password. You can ring our office on (02) 6684 3345 during business hours or or email support@linknet.com.au to have another email box set up.

    You can ring our office on (02) 6684 3345 during business hours to change your password.

  3. I can not remember my password, can you email it to me?

    Unfortunately, we do not email passwords, as email is insecure. You may ring our office on (02) 6684 3345 during business hours to obtain your password. Office hours are 9am - 9pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 5pm Saturdays. Please note that we cannot provide the password to anyone but the account holder, or someone that has been authorised by the account holder.
  4. How do I contact tech support if I have a problem?

    If possible email support at support@linknet.com.au. All emails are answered within 1 business day, however most are resolved within a few hours. If you cannot email us, or you would prefer to speak to someone about your problem, you may contact us via telephone on (02) 6684 3345. Phone support is available between 9am and 9pm weekdays, and 10am and 5pm Saturdays. Most calls are answered immediately.

    Please note that support is not open on Sundays or public holidays. Also note that support is able to assist with most account enquiries or billing problems.
  5. When I send an email, my address is wrong, or I need to change it. How can I do this?

    If you are using Outlook Express or Outlook 2000, follow these steps:
    • Go to the Tools menu and click on Accounts
    • Click on the Mail tab
    • Double-click on your account (usually pop.linknet...)
    • Change the Email field to your email address
    • Click OK, then click Close
